Make a Million Appeal and Breast Cancer Care
At Breast Cancer Care we receive a wide range of support from individuals, corporates and other charities. We are delighted to be working again with the Make A Million Appeal (MAMA) for a second year as their chosen charity.
The Make A Million Appeal was the brainchild of Linda Green to raise a million pounds for cancer charities in the UK by 2011. Linda understands the trauma and helplessness that cancer brings having lost her mother to breast cancer and seeing her twin sister bravely fighting the same disease. MAMA is her and her family’s way to pay tribute and to support those who are affected by the illness.
This year MAMA has an exciting range of events in aid of Breast Cancer Care which are detailed below:
Thursday 11 March
Women’s Networking Lunch, London
Mix with other women to discuss anything from the current social and economic climate to balance working and home life. You will enjoy a two-course lunch with wine served in London’s exclusive Soho House. Tickets are £55.
Thursday 24 June
Golf Day, Woburn Golf Club, Buckinghamshire
Take part in the annual MAMA Golf Day at the world famous Woburn Golf Club. This exciting day offers teams of four the opportunity to compete on the stunning Marquess’ course. The day will be rounded off with a three-course dinner and auction. It costs £900 to enter a team of four.
