Trek the Indian Himalayas
The trek
Experience the magic of India. Trek in the foothills of the Indian Himalayas and surround yourself with stunning views and pure mountain air!
Our trek starts at the beautiful hill station of Dharamsala, the spiritual home and monastery of the Dalai Lama, who is in exile from Tibet.
For five days you will camp by night and walk by day through the Kingdom of Gaddi, enjoying magnificent views of the Dhauladhar mountain range with the Kangra Valley below.
We pass through traditional mountain villages with their terraced fields and dense mixed forests of oak, pine and bamboo.
Our local guides bring the area, culture and nature alive by providing us with an insight into life in rural India.
Visit the Taj Mahal
This trek also incorporates a visit to the Dalai Lama’s monastery and residence as well as an optional visit to Agra and the famous Taj Mahal at the end.
