Become a Pink Ribbonwalk Champion

We are looking for Pink Ribbonwalk Champions who can help promote the event where they live and in their local communities. We need you to spread the word to help make this the best Pink Ribbonwalk yet!

This might mean putting up posters in schools, doctor’s surgeries and libraries, or putting something on the intranet at work. You might be able to talk about the event on your blog, Twitter, or Facebook page. Maybe you could hold a talk at any clubs or societies to which you belong. We can help give you ideas on how to spread the word, and provide you with materials. Perhaps you have some ideas of your own already!

Your Champion activities can take up as little or as much time as you can spare, and we will keep you updated via our regular e-newsletters.

Join a Pink Ribbonwalk Committee

Could you support us by creating sponsorship opportunities, bringing in prizes, recruiting teams or helping us with suppliers?

Committee input is vital in helping shape and develop our portfolio and we welcome applications from anyone who has an enthusiasm for the Pink Ribbonwalk events.

The committees are made up of a small group of people, who live close to where our Pink Ribbonwalk events take place and who are supporters of the charity. They meet three to four times prior to the event and discuss and brainstorm ideas of how we can build awareness of the event, in order to increase the number of participants, as well as recommend suppliers and contacts. A Breast Cancer Care representative will be present at each meeting to guide you and tell you more about the event and the charity.
