We know there are people out there who would love to sign up to an event and support Breast Cancer Care, but have a demanding job, family commitments, physical restrictions or other obstacles getting in their way.
However, you don’t have to get sweaty, collect sponsorship money or jump out of the sky to support Breast Cancer Care. Helping our events can be easier than you think!
You can be a part of making our events even bigger and better in so many less obvious, but no less valuable ways.
What could you do?
Become a committee member
Could you support us by creating sponsorship opportunities at our events, bringing in prizes, recruiting teams or selling tickets for our special events? Committee input is vital in helping shape and develop our portfolio and we welcome applications from anyone who has an enthusiasm for sporting, walking or special events. Work experience
Breast Cancer Care welcomes enquiries from individuals looking to gain more experience in the charity sector. There are opportunities to support our teams across the event portfolio, depending on experience. If you would like to be considered for any work experience, please download the work experience form, complete and forward to events@breastcancercare.org.uk.

Every one of our runs, treks, challenges and special events has a sizeable framework of companies and individuals, working to ensure every supporter has the best event experience they can. If you are able to offer your skills, a little of your time, your business or contacts, you might be in a position to add that something extra!

- Help in the Breast Cancer Care office before our events with everything from packing and wrapping to marketing and mailings

- Prize donations for our many fundraising mechanisms

- Gifts or samples for goody bags
- Suppliers of halliards
What are the benefits for us all?
It’s simple really. With even the smallest donation of your time, contacts or resources, you are enabling us to keep our event costs down which in turn helps ensure that the funds raised from our events can go straight to work supporting our UK wide services for anyone affected by breast cancer or with breast health issues.
