Breast Cancer Care is delighted to be chosen as an Elite Charity for the Chris Hoy Edinburgh Half Marathon, which is taking place on Sunday 18 April 2010.

The picturesque Firth of Forth coastline forms the backdrop to this scenic Half Marathon. Starting on the track at Meadowbank Stadium, the route then takes runners out of central Edinburgh to the Firth of Forth coast at Portobello before heading southwards towards a grandstand finish at Musselburgh Racecourse.

If you are interested in taking part in this event we would be delighted for you to join Team Breast Cancer Care Scotland using one of our guaranteed charity places.

What we provide

We will support you in your efforts every step of the way and provide all our runners with a support pack including your own running vest for race day. Our unrivalled cheering squads en route will be there to give our runners that extra boost of encouragement.
We will be there to congratulate you at the end of the race with a well deserved Breast Cancer Care goody bag and welcome you to the Charity Village to relax after the race with friends and family.

How to enter

Breast Cancer Care has guaranteed entries available for the Chris Hoy Edinburgh Half Marathon so please do contact us if you are interested in securing a place. We do not ask for a registration fee, but will ask you to raise a minimum of £150 in sponsorship money.

I already have a place

If you have been lucky enough to secure your own place in the half marathon, Breast Cancer Care would be delighted to have you as part of the team. We do not ask for a minimum sponsorship, we just ask you to raise as much as possible!
