Volunteers - we need your help!
The Pink Ribbonwalk is not just designed to be a personal challenge, but also to be a great day out where people come together to support a great cause and each other.
An event like the Pink Ribbonwalk would not happen without the fantastic support of volunteers. They help create the special atmosphere and their most important role is to celebrate the walkers - this means lots of smiling, cheering and encouragement!
Roles on the day vary from looking after walkers on the route to presenting them with a well-deserved medal at the finish and we need over 100 volunteers at each event to make the day a success. Specific roles include massage therapists, qualified guides, doctors and minibus drivers.
This really is a great opportunity to work as part of our team and to be an integral part of the day that will lead to a successful event we can all be proud of. All volunteers will receive a volunteer information pack to prepare them, as well as a free Breast Cancer Care crew T-shirt and food on the day.
Take a look at our information packs and read our “Day in the Life of a Volunteer” to find out more about what volunteering is like. You can also download a copy of our volunteer form to print and return in the post if you prefer.
