17 April 2011

Congratulations to our running team who completed the Virgin London Marathon this year. Take a look at our runners in action on our flickr page.

The London Marathon raised more than £40 million for charity last year and continues to rank at the top of many people’s ‘to do’ lists. Why not tick it off your list in 2011 and run for Team Breast Cancer Care?

Widely recognised as the best marathon in the world, it offers everything you could want from a race - a high quality course, enthusiastic charity runners, an inspiring and interesting route, brilliant organisation and an exhilarating atmosphere.

How to enter

The public ballot system for the 2011 Virgin London Marathon will open on Tuesday 4 May 2010 at www.virginlondonmarathon.co.uk .

The ballot system will close when 125,000 applications have been received. If you're planning to run in 2011 then you’ll have to be quick on your toes to be in with a chance of getting a place.

The London Marathon has changed the entry system slightly this year. If you have entered the ballot in 2009 and 2010, and been unsuccessful both times, you will be given the opportunity to pre-enter the ballot via an e-mail link that will be sent directly to you. If this applies to you then you have until April 30 to enter the ballot. Please read the full details below:
