Cardiff Half Marathon

The Cardiff Half Marathon is growing in popularity and with runners participating from all over the world, it is fast establishing itself in the international calendar.

The 13.1 mile route will take you on a tour of the city, encompassing the beautiful Cardiff Castle, newly developed bay area and finishing off in the awe-inspiring Millennium Stadium! This fast and flat course is perfect for all runners, whether experienced or not, so why not take on the challenge and run for Breast Cancer Care?

Fundraising

By joining our team and choosing to support Breast Cancer Care we do ask that you pledge to raise money for the charity. There is no minimum amount, we just ask that you raise as much as possible. In order to help you, we will send you a pack full of tips and sponsorship forms and will be on hand to offer advice and answer any of your queries every step of the way.

How we will support you

In return for pledging to raise money for us we will support you by providing you with:

• A state of the art running vest 
• A support pack full of fundraising and training advice 
• A training plan and top tips from our sports ambassador Denise Lewis 
• Support and advice from a dedicated member of the sports team 
• Fundraising materials to help you including balloons, posters and collection tins
• 20% off sportswear specialists Sweaty Betty products

How to enter

If you would like to sign up for this event please register on line at http://www.cardiffmarathon.org. Once you have received confirmation of your place and would like to run for Team Breast Cancer Care please contact us on 029 2023 4080 or email runcymru@breastcancercare.org.uk.

If you already have a place

If you've deferred an entry from a previous race or have already gained a place in this event, we would love you to join the Breast Cancer Care Cymru team.  We support all our runners in the same way. To join the team, please email runcymru@breastcancercare.org.uk with:

• Your name 
• Address 
• Telephone number 
• Running vest size

Alternatively, contact us on 029 2023 4080. Once you are signed up we will send you a race support pack and a running vest to get you started.
