Congratulations
We would like to say a huge congratulations and thank you to our 140 runners who took part in this year’s Edinburgh Marathon on 25 May. It was a bank holiday weekend to remember as the sun eventually came out making the views along Edinburgh’s east coast simply breathtaking. The marathon had doubled in size this year making it one of the most successful to date.
Breast Cancer Care was honoured to have such a large team participating and it truly was a proud day for us seeing so many pink running vests on the course. We hope you didn’t miss the pink wigged cheer at the 9 mile mark and the two groups along the coast when the encouragement was needed most!
‘Just a quick email to say a BIG THANKYOU to Team Breast Cancer. I felt (as did the rest of my buddies) that you did a great job in cheering us on and we could'nt have done it without you’. Jamie, Gerry Susan and Martin.
‘Thank you, first of all, for the support on route on Sunday. It was much needed and helped so much!’ Cara McCabe
Well done and thank you. We look forward to communicating our fundraising total soon.
