Some will walk it for their mum, some for a best friend, many in thanks for a loved one who recovered, others in memory of those who didn’t - who will you walk it for?
We want everyone to come together to support people affected by breast cancer. Whether you've had breast cancer yourself, plan to walk for family or friends, or just want to enjoy a fun day's walk in stunning countryside, this is a day to celebrate those who move and inspire us. Starting and finishing at some of the country’s most magnificent stately homes, you can choose to follow a 10 or 20 mile circular ribbon route. Whatever your reason, by participating in the Ribbon Walk you will be part of something special.
We have four locations for this year - click the links below to find out more about each event and to register online.
Blenheim Palace & Cotswolds, Saturday 30 May - Scone Palace & Perthshire, Saturday 13 June
Harewood House & West Yorkshire, Saturday 20 June - Petworth House & South Downs, Saturday 27 June
Entry fee is £30. In addition participants must raise a minimum of £250 sponsorship for Breast Cancer Care.
SPECIAL OFFER!
We are acutely aware of the effects of the current economic climate and we have found that the numbers of people signing up for the Ribbon Walk have been severely affected. We want to make sure that you can continue to show your support, so that we can continue to deliver the services that people affected by breast cancer so desperately need.
With this in mind we are launching a special offer which we hope will make it possible for your friends and family to walk the Ribbon with you this year.
If you sign up a friend to walk with you, you will qualify for a special ‘Walking Partners’ combined minimum fundraising target of just £350. So instead of the usual £250 per person each, you will only need to raise £175 each – a total discount of £150! Please click here to find out more .
Send an enquiry to our team or sign up today to ensure you don’t miss out on a place in the 2009 Ribbon Walk.
Help Breast Cancer Care be there for anyone affected by breast cancer.
